Jillian Linton is a MA (2017) in human geography from the  department of Geography and Planning  with research interests in urban environments and communities, migration, race, food and social justice. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in 2014 in International Relations with minors in Human Geography and History.

Her research project focused on immigrants growing food locally in the Greater Toronto Area, their experiences and impressions of local food and their hopes for local food policy in the region. Read a summary report of the research here.
